Texas Pure Products
About Texas Pure
The City of Plano began operating a composting program in 1992 as part of our integrated solid waste management plan to divert recyclable materials from the landfill. In 2004, Plano became the contractor for the North Texas Municipal Water District regional composting program. Plano accepts material from Allen, Frisco, McKinney, Plano, and Richardson residential collections and wood from Green Builder programs operating in Frisco and Plano. In addition, all yard trimmings and clean wood dropped off at the Custer Road Facility is diverted to the composting facility.
The Regional Composting Facility produces compost, topdressing, soil blend, and mulch and markets the material as Texas Pure. Texas Pure represents a completely finished and stable product. Plano certifies its products by participating in the United States Composting Council Seal of Testing Assurance program, which requires ongoing testing, disclosure of test data, and providing educational information to customers.
Texas Pure compost, topdressing, mulch and soil blend products have developed solid reputations as high-quality yard and garden products. Each year, an increasing number of residents, businesses, and municipalities take advantage of the Texas Pure products.

Products Information
* The spring planting season is the busiest time of year for delivering Texas Pure Products. While it is delightful our products are in high demand, it also makes it impossible for us to provide an estimated delivery time on the day of your order. Our drivers strive to deliver your products safely and as promptly as possible but various elements may cause a delay, such as traffic, difficult drop sites, or inaccessible areas. We ask for your patience as we work through the growing season to provide the organic products you need for your garden and lawn.
