Texas Recycles Day 2020 - Saturday, Nov. 14

Texas Recycles Day (TRD) is back! This year’s event will be smaller and focus on three popular collections:

  • Electronics recycling – view list of accepted items and fees
  • Document shredding – two free banker’s boxes per household
  • Bicycles – adult or children’s, operational or not

Drive through and drop off your items between 8:30 a.m. and noon in the Chase Oaks Church parking lot (281 Legacy Drive).

Residents are required to remain in their vehicles. Masks are mandatory for residents and staff.

TRD Offsite Donations

Several of our partners from previous years won't be participating this year, but are still accepting donations outside of the event. See what items you can donate for reuse with our up-to-date Texas Recycles Day Offsite Donations list.

About TRD

Texas Recycles Day is an annual event held by the City of Plano that allows residents to drive through, drop off and donate household items to our community and local non-profit organizations. Each year in November, hundreds of residents attend this event and the donations collected benefit thousands of people as items are reused or recycled, keeping these items out of our landfill.
