National Night Out Pop-Up Party Trailer Raffle

The City’s BEST Neighborhoods Division is answering one of the most frequent requests we receive from neighborhoods.  This year, your neighborhood group has the opportunity to WIN the chance to use the Pop-up Party Trailer on National Night Out 2019!

Here's How To Enter

Raffle entries are earned by having at least ONE neighborhood representative attend the following events/meetings (up to 7 entries per neighborhood group):

Events/meetings will have a raffle entry form available where the neighborhood representative must indicate the neighborhood’s interest in the Pop-Up Party Trailer raffle for the 2019 National Night Out.

One (1) entry per neighborhood represented at each event/meeting; a neighborhood group cannot earn an entry per representative at a meeting. A maximum of 7 entries per neighborhood group.

The final raffle winner will be announced on Monday, May 6 at noon on Facebook Live.

Guidelines for Raffle

To be eligible to win, the neighborhood group must be registered with the Neighborhood Services Department at least one week prior to the raffle date. Raffle is for the use of the Pop-Up Party Trailer on National Night Out only. A neighborhood group can only win the raffle once. The registered neighborhood group who receives the trailer on National Night Out must still follow all trailer guidelines and policies.

Pop-Up Party Trailer

The City of Plano has a trailer available specifically for neighborhood-wide block parties. Reserving the trailer is free for all neighborhoods that are registered with the City's BEST Neighborhoods Division as one of the following: Homeowners Association, Neighborhood Association, Crime Watch Group. Please refer to the calendar below to see availability and reservations. If you are unsure if your group is registered, please call (972) 208-8150 or check our Neighborhood Resource Map.

City staff will drop off the trailer on Friday afternoon at an approved location and will pick up the trailer Monday morning.  Residents will not be permitted to move the trailer at any time.  An adult over the age of 18 will need to be present when the trailer is dropped off Friday afternoon.  An adult does not need to be present when the trailer is picked up Monday morning. The trailer is not available for reservation during the week (Tuesday through Thursday). Neighborhoods may reserve the trailer one time per calendar year and make reservations up to 9 months in advance in 2019. 

Important Information

Street Closures Petitions for residential street closure need to be received at least fourteen (14) days before the proposed event. Petitions must be signed by 75% of the residential properties that are adjacent to the proposed street closure. Complete the liability waiver and return to Per Ordinance No.2003-4-16 Block parties must be held between the hours of 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM Per Ordinance No. 68-8-1 it is unlawful for any person to consume any alcoholic beverage on any public street, alley, or any public place adjacent to any street or alley in the city.
