Monday-Thursday 9:00am – 8:00pm, Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, Saturday 10:00am – 5:00pm, Sunday 1:00 – 5:00pm

Grab and Go – mask required
  • Browse materials/self-checkout
  • Holds pickup inside (porch pickup is also available - instructions (PDF))
  • Computer access (first come, first served – one 2-hour session per day)

Check It Out! Launchpads


Launchpads are pre-loaded tablets with activities for kids, to extend their learning experience. Kids Launchpads come with learning apps in a variety of subjects (reading, intro to science and math, and more) for hours of interactive learning.

Theme Bags at Plano Public Library

Check It Out! Theme Bags


Theme bags are professionally designed storytime kits about popular themes. Each Theme Bag contains a picture books as well as a relevant activity like a flannel board story, puppet or toy

Bookpacks bring pre-loaded audio devices and print books perfect for following along for children of all ages. Bookpacks include classics like The Secret Garden and The Jungle Book, and favorites like Frog and Toad, Curious George, and many more.

Bilingual Backpacks at Plano Public Library

Check It Out! Bilingual Backpacks


Exposure to a second language at a young age considerably improves a child's early literacy development. With a combination of flash cards, DVDs and games, the bilingual backpacks help English-speaking children learn a new language and support ESL children with their English skills

• Chapter Books Sets – 5 items: early chapter book readers and older elementary readers
• Teen Fiction Sets – 4 items: middle school or high school reading levels

Storytime - Babes in Arms
Babes in Arms

 

Ages 0-9 months
A lapsit storytime to introduce the sounds and rhythms of language, develop motor skills and give babies a head start on learning. Storytime is followed by a brief playtime with toys, bubbles and socialization for caregivers and babies. Babes in Arms is for pre-walkers who are not yet highly mobile; siblings are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal or doll
