Water Conservation Rebate Program

The City of Plano offers residents rebates for installing eligible water conservation items. Rebates are available for installing a rain / freeze sensor, up to three high efficiency toilets and/or a pressure reducing valve (PRV)

Participants must currently have a City of Plano water utility account in good financial standing for the property where qualifying items were installed. Eligible items must be purchased from a retailer within the City of Plano. Completed applications and proof of purchase (store receipt, licensed plumber invoice, etc.) must be received by the City of Plano within 120 days of purchase date. The City of Plano reserves the right to terminate or modify the water conservation rebate program at any time.

Rebates are offered for the following water conservation items. Please click on a program listed below for program guidelines and the application:

  • High Efficiency Toilets (HET)
    • Only available for homes built in 1994 or earlier that install new, WaterSense® labeled high efficiency toilets (1.28 gallons per flush or less). The rebate is $100 for the first toilet, $75 for the second, and $50 for the third.
