Hoblitzelle Pond Renovation
The Parks & Recreation Department has hired a contractor to remove silt, mud, and debris that has accumulated in the bottom of Hoblitzelle pond. The sediment will be removed by hydraulic excavation equipment, dewatered in a dewatering bag, loaded onto dump trucks, and transported off site. The park trail will remain open during the restoration.

The pond restoration work is now complete.  The contractor anticipates removing the sediment in early August 2019.  Grass damaged by trucks and equipment will be replaced.
