About Plano Aquaducks
Plano Aquaducks is a recreational swim team for the Plano Parks and Recreation Department. They were founded in the summer of 2000 and have grown from 35 to over 250 swimmers. The Aquaducks are affiliated with the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation.

The Aquaducks strive to provide a fun and family-like atmosphere as they expose kids (ages 6-18) to the great sport of swimming. They provide opportunities for kids to swim throughout the year in a non-threatening environment where they can make new friends and excel at their swimming skills. Our coaching philosophy is for the kids to have a great time while we provide them a good balance between stroke work and conditioning.

The team is open to children ages 6-10 who can independently swim 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke without stopping and to children ages 11-18 who are familiar with the 4 competitive strokes and are water safe up to 13 feet deep water. A tryout will be conducted after the swimmer is registered.
