    Get your cat neutered for just 5 cents during Nickel Neutering on Tuesday, February 25, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Make an appointment with us to get your cat neutered for just a nickel. Nickel Neutering appointments are limited to 100 cats, so call our Animal Shelter today at (972) 769-4360. All cats must be delivered in a pet carrier labeled with the owner’s name. Owners must provide written proof of the cat’s current rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, which if needed can be administered for $9.95 for one shot or $19.95 for both. Microchip implantation will also be available for an additional $10 fee per cat. Plano residents will be required to register their cats with the City’s Animal Services Division for $10 or $5 if the owner is a senior citizen or has proof of being low income.     Famed photographer Paul Audia will discuss the Art of Photography and his recently published book "Wisdom of Time by Pope Francis and Friends." Audia possesses a unique vision, bringing technical mastery and genuine spontaneity to every shoot. He strives to uncover the person within in his portraits of diverse subjects from the Pope, Barack Obama and Billy Corgan to fashion models, buttoned-up business types and Irish fishermen. Following his presentation, noted local photographers David Downs, Missy Burton and Kendrix Wesley will join Audia for a panel discussion moderated by photographer Janelle Twyford-Silvis to discuss their images, techniques and experiences.
