No. Plano Fire-Rescue does not provide CPR certification with our Hands-Only CPR classes. There are a large number of organizations and individuals that provide training that results in CPR certification. Two organizations include the American Red Cross and American Heart Association.
Yes. Our crews must remain available for emergency responses.
Most programs last about an hour. For information regarding a specific program please contact the Community Outreach and Education office at 972-941-7497.
Sorry, we do not hold birthday parties at our stations: our crews must remain in service during all station tours / visits and guests cannot be left unattended in our facilities.
Feel free to drop by before or after a birthday party to get a station tour.
During a Home Safety Check a firefighter will:
Generally Home Safety Checks / Smoke Alarm Assistance services are only done during normal business hours Monday - Friday.
